Pro-AL panel wins N'ganj bar polls

NARAYANGANJ: Awami League backed panel ‘Sammilita Ainjibi Samannoy Parishad, won 13 post including president and general secretary in the annual general election of Narayanganj District Bar Association held on Thursday. Among the seventeen posts, BNP backed Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikkya Parishad panel bagged four posts including entertainment secretary and three member posts. The winners of the Awami League include president-Anisur Rahman Dipu, vice-president Habibur Rahman Habib, SM Karim, General Secretary-Hasan Ferdous Jewel, Joint Secretary-Mohammad Mohshin Mia, Treasurer- Sohel Mia. A total of 799 voters out of 842 cast their votes in the election.
