Police recovered the body of a marketing officer of the daily Banik Barta, which was kept hidden inside a suitcase, from a building at Namapara in the capital yesterday, reports UNB. Police arrested a suspected killer, identified as Faisal alias Paddy, and also detained three more people -- Rakib, Raihan and Fahim -- for interrogation in this connection. The victim was identified as Jahangir Alam, 40. He went to Namapara in Khilkhet several days ago to visit on of his relative’s house. Sub-inspector (SI) Monir of Khilkhet Police Station said local people informed police about bad smell from a flat in a 5-storey building in Namapara. Being informed, police went to the spot around 9am and recovered the body from a flat of a 5-storey building. Police arrested the victim's cousin Faisal and three others from the area, said SI Monir. During interrogation, Faisal reportedly confessed that he killed Jahangir over a money related dispute, he added.
