The import and export activities resumed from yesterday through Hili Land Port (HLP) under Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur district after a six-day Eid-ul-Azha vacation, reports BSS.
General Secretary of the Clearing and Forwarding Agents Association (C&FAA) at HLP Abdur Rahman Litan said all sorts of import- export activities remained suspended through the land port from August 20 to 25 during the vacation.
“The normal imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of the goods resumed from today after expiry of the vacation,” Litan informed the news agency yesterday.
Officer-in-Charge of Immigration Check Post (ICP) at HLP Abdus Sabur said movement of passport-visa holder citizens remained unaffected through the ICP
there during the Eid-ul-Azha vacation despite closure of import and export activities.
