Tapestry exhibition continues at Gallery Chitrak

A 10-day long group tapestry exhibition by artist Tajul Islam and Lokkhon Sutradhar is now on at the Gallery Chitrak, Dhanmondi in the city. As many as 50 recent tapestries by the artists are put on display in the ongoing exhibition. Earlier, on September 11, former Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC) Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest, while Summit Group Chairman Muhammed Aziz Khan was present as special guest. Renowned artist Mizanur Rahim, Dean of Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology chaired the inaugural ceremony. The exhibition will remain open to all everyday from 10am to 8pm, until September 20.
