UGC team meets Finnish minister
A high level education delegation of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC), led by the Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, met Sinuhe Wallinheimo, the Minister for Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Finland, at her office in Finland on Wednesday, says a press release. UGC Chairman Abdul Mannan, senior members of the UGC, Consultants of HEQEP project of the UGC and Bangladeshs Ambassador to Sweden Ghulam Sarwar, were present, during the meeting. The Finnish Minister was assisted by senior members of her ministry and representatives of Educluster, an affiliate organisation of the University Jyvaskyla of Finland. During the visit, both parties discussed matters relating to co-operation between the two countries for enhancement of quality in higher education, exchange of students, teachers training and institutional collaboration.
