Truckload of cattle snatched in Gazipur

Muggers snatched away a truck loaded with 19 cattle from a group of cattle traders in Mirer Bazar area of Gazipur city yesterday, reports UNB. Victim traders said on Wednesday night they bought 19 cattle from Rajshahi and were heading towards Noakhali for selling those. When the truck reached the area early in the morning, a gang of criminals numbering 10-12 equipped with locally made weapons, on a pick-up van obstructed them. Later, the bandits tied up the truck driver, his helper and traders.
