World premiere today, big screen release on August 21

‘Rajadheeraj Razzak’, a biographical documentary based on the life and work of ‘Nayak Raj’-famed legendary actor Razzak, will see its world premiere today at 3:30pm on Channel i. On the other hand, the documentary will also be released at Star Cineplex on August 21 to mark the first death anniversary of Razzak.

Produced by Impress Telefilm Ltd,  Independence Award winning noted media personality Shykh Seraj has made this biographical documentary ‘Rajadheeraj Razzaz’ (The King Protagonist) on the legendary hero.

The 90-minute biographical documentary contains exclusive interviews of Razzak, unseen photographs of the Nayak Raj and interviews of his friends, colleagues and family members. Besides, veteran film artistes Suchonda, Kabori, Babita and many other silver screen celebrities shared their precious and publicly-unknown memory with the legendary hero. Moreover, Shykh Seraj also visited Razzak’s birthplace in West Bengal, India and gathered rare information on Razzak and interviewed people who used to know him in his childhood.

On the occasion of world premiere and big screen release of ‘Rajadheeraj Razzak’, a press conference was arranged at the office of Channel i in the capital yesterday. Attending the event, Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, noted lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar, actor Faruq, filmmaker Amzad Hossain, music composer Alauddin Ali, singers Syed Abdul Hadi and Khurshid Alam, film artistes Ferdous, Purnima, Misha Saudagar, Razzak’s wife Khairunnesa and two sons Bapparaj and Shamrat delivered speeches.
