Bus driver held over road crash

RAJSHAHI: Police arrested a bus driver in connection with a road accident that left three people, including a schoolgirl dead, at Naudapara Bazar in the city, from Godagari upazila on Wednesday night, reports UNB.

The arrestee was identified as Jony, 36, son of Nurul Islam of Premtoli Faradpur area in Godagari upazila.

Zillur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Shah Makhdum Police Station, said after tracking the mobile phone of Jony police arrested him from his residence in the evening.
