The by-election to Tangail-4 constituency will be held on 10 November instead of 28 October.
The Election Commission yesterday issued a notification rescheduling the by-polls to the constituency that fell vacant following the resignation of former minister Abdul Latif Siddique from parliament.
The commission brought the change just after two days later of its first announcement.
According to the new schedule, the last date of submitting the nomination papers is October 11 while the nomination would be scrutinised on October 13 and the last date of withdrawing nomination is on October 21.
