Bangladesh mission in Uzbekistan gets �Tasanno� award
Bangladesh Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan was awarded Tasanno-2015, a most popular food and cultural festival of Uzbekistan, says a press release.
The festival was organised on Wednesday by the council of friendship societies and cultural enlightening relations with foreign countries of Uzbekistan.
All diplomatic missions working in Tashkent participated in the festival.
The main aim of the festival is improve the friendly relation between people as well as popularisation of national cuisine, traditions and culture.
To popularise the Bangladesh cuisine, tradition and culture, Bangladesh Embassy showed varieties of food, painting and clothes. Thousands of Uzbekistan people, diplomats and their family members, cultural personalities and government officials of the country tasted of Bangladeshi food, the statement added.
