Prof Nurul Alam made JU pro-VC

JU CORRESPONDENT, Savar

Professor Md Nurul Alam of Physics department has been appointed as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of Jahangirnagar University. A press release signed by Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Education Habibur Rahman confirmed the appointment yesterday. According to the section 13 (1) of Jahangirnagar University Act 1773, Chancellor of the University Abdul Hamid appointed him for the next four years, the release said.
