CHATTOGRAM: Three people, including a woman and a child, were killed in separate incidents in the port city yesterday, reports BSS.
Among the victims, rickshaw-van puller Kamal Uddin, 50, was killed as a gas cylinder exploded in city’s Sadarghat area yesterday morning.
In another incident, Jaheda Begum, 30, was electrocuted while she came in contact with a live electric wire in city’s Tulatali area.
Meanwhile, child Meherina, 3, killed after sinking into a pond at Charpatherghata under Karnaphuli Police Station around 8 am, said Alauddin, sub-inspector of CMCH police outpost.
