Two held with arms, ammo

CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5 arrested two alleged illegal arms traders with two shooter guns and two bullets from Sonapur Batakpara area under Shibganj upazila of the district early yesterday, reports BSS.

The arrested persons are Jannatul, 21, and Shahidul, 22, residents of Baliadighi village of the upazila.

On a tip off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in the area at around 2.30 am and arrested the duo with the arms and ammunition, a RAB official said.
