Nazrana keeps solo lead in chess

WFM Nazrana Khan Eva of Manikganj maintained her solo lead in the  Walton 38th National Women’s Chess Championship-2018.

She pushed her collection to full five points after the end of 5th round games at Bangladesh Chess Federation  hall room in the capital yesterday.

 WIM Rani Hamid of Titas Club, WFM Zakia Sultana of Agrani Bank Daba Dal, Umme Taslima Protiva Talukder of Bogra and Afrin Jahan Munia of Barishal are sharing second position with 4 points each.

In 5th round: Eva beat Protiva, Zakia drew with Afroza Khanam Bably, Noshin beat Jannatul Ferdous, Munia beat  Jhorna Begum, Kishwara Shajrin Evana drew with Sadia Afrin Samia. The other two games between Farjana Hossain Annie and Jannatul Ferdousi and between Thakur Zania Haque and  Ahmed Walijah were going on till filing of this report.
