Kidnapped minor found dead in Gazipur

Gazipur: Police recovered the body of an eight-year-old boy from Gozaribon in Hotapara area in Gazipur on Saturday night three days after he was kidnapped, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Sajim Hossain, son of Selim Mia of the area. Sub-inspector Saiful Islam of Hotapara Police Outpost said that miscreants abducted Sajim on August 9 from his house. Later, they killed Sajim and left the body in the area, he added. Locals spotted the body in the evening and informed the police. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to the sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy. They also detained the victim's relative Mahboob in this connection for interrogation.
