Richi to appear in Eid special �Ruby Roy�

Popular actress Richi Solaiman will be seen playing the title role in an Eid special tele-drama Ruby Roy, written and directed by Shoirja Dipto Surja. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the tele-drama began this Tuesday at a shooting house in the capitals Uttara area. Azad Abul Kalam and Maznun Mizan will share the screen with Richi in the tele-drama.
In the past, several tele-dramas have been made based on the story of Ruby Roy. Richi Solaiman is eagerly anticipating playing the character from the famous song Mone Pore Ruby Roy, whose lyrics were written by Sachin Bhowmick and performed by Rahul Dev Burman.
Richi shared her enthusiasm about the role, Due to family commitments, I have worked in only a few tele-dramas this Eid. To be honest, Eid-ul-Fitr usually consists of a very hectic schedule and that is why, there is that desire to somewhat ease the pressure during Eid-ul-Azha. That is why, for this upcoming Eid, I have worked in only a few tele-dramas. And as far as the name Ruby Roy is concerned, I have a great weakness towards that. I did the work with a lot of eagerness. I sincerely hope the viewers will appreciate it.

To note, Richi Solaiman will be seen in various tele-dramas during Eid-ul-Azha, such as Nil Kantha Pakhir Khoje, written and directed by Rawnak Hasan, Mahmud Didars Rainbow and Oh Darling by Shahin Shadin. According to sources, the shooting of the aforementioned tele-dramas have already been completed.
On the other hand, Richi Solaiman-acted drama serial Palta Hawa, directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul, is regularly being aired on Banglavision and the drama serial Jokhon Kokhono, directed by Rahmatullah Tuhin, will be aired very soon on a satellite TV channel.
Ruby Roy will be aired on the fourth day of Eid at 11:05 pm on NTV.
