At least 20 people were injured in a clash between police and the activists Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) in Mithapukur upazila in Rangpur yesterday morning, reports UNB. Police said Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) jointly arranged
a sit-in program protesting the price hike of gas and electricity in the upazila headquarter around 11:30am.
On information, police rushed in and obstructed them. The CPB and BSD activists also attacked the law enforcers, leading to a clash.
