Farabi put on fresh remand

A Dhaka Court yesterday granted blogger Shafiqur Rahaman Farabi on two-day fresh remand in connection with killing of progressive blogger Avijit Roy on
Feb 26. After hearing, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Maruf Hossain passed the order.
Earlier, Detective Branch Inspector Fazlur Rahman of Dhaka Metropolitan Police produced Farabi before the court seeking seven days remand after competitions of ten day remand.
