Southeast University (SEU) organised an orientation programme for 15 newly admitted students from China’s Yunnan Minzu University in its Bangla Department on July 31 at its Tejgaon campus in Dhaka. A cultural programme was organised with the participation of students of both the universities on the occasion, says a press release.
ANM Meshquat Uddin, Vice Chancellor of SEU, presided over the ceremony, which was also attended by Lu Fang, Deputy Dean, Yunnan Minzu University, Yang Yuanchun, wife of the Chinese Ambassador in Bangladesh, and Feng Xiaorong, secretary general of Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh.
