A month-long ‘International Women’s SME Expo Bangladesh-2015’ will begin in the port city from October 21, reports BSS from Chittagong.
Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CWCCI) is organising the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) exposition at city’s Railway Pologround aiming at promoting access to finance in SME.
CWCCI director Rekha Alam Chowdhury in a press conference held yesterday at Engineer Abdul Khaleque Auditorium of Chittagong Press Club said a total of 300 stalls, 20 pavilions and an exhibition hall would be set up to showcase different services of SME institutions from home and abroad.
Entrepreneurs from different countries including Iran, Pakistan, India and Bangladeshm will take part in the exposition which will remain open from 10am to 10pm every day.
CWCCI president Kamrun Malek said the objective of arranging such fair is to provide necessary guidelines and inform the SME of existing loan facilities for them, easy access to finance for their flourish and direct interaction between the bankers and borrowers.
