‘Bangabandhu Square’ inaugurated at KUET

Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) Professor Dr Muhammad Alamgir last night inaugurated ‘Bangabandhu Square’ through unveiled stone in front of the auditorium, reports BSS. The academic activities of KUET have been started by the special direction of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1974, the VC said while inaugurating the ceremony.

The KUET authority expressed honour and gratitude to the architect of our great Liberation War through building ‘Bangabandhu Square’ here, he added. Assistant Prof of KUET and also designer of ‘Bangabandhu Square’ Md Sheikh Sadi Bhiyan addressed the programme while students, teachers and employees,

among others, were present.
