The parliamentary committee on Environment, Forests and Climate affairs recommended to impose control on importing raw materials for producing polythene products on Tuesday, reports UNB.
The committee also suggested conducting mobile court by the Deputy Commissioner and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) in order to stop the use of the banned polythene-made products.
Anisul Islam Mahmud, minister of Environment, Forests and Climate affairs ministry, state minister of the ministry Abdullah Al Islam Jakob, and other officials of the ministry were present.
