The ministry of education has announced to close all educational institutions under the ministry including secondary, higher secondary and universities.
Ministry sources yesterday said the decision has been taken following the protest situation erupted due to the accident of two students in road accident in the capital on Sunday.
The next decision of opening the educational institutions would be taken considering the situation.
Education Minister Nurul Isalm Nahid also expressed his deep shock at the killing of two students and urged the agitating students to remain calm.
In a press release, he said the process of ensuring capital punishment is underway as per law.
