IFIC Bank and Samakal jointly have introduced ‘IFIC-Samakal business award’ to recognise the special contribution to businesses and individuals in the country’s industries and commerce sector.
The announcement was made at a press conference in the capital yesterday.
Mohammed Farashuddin, former governor of Bangladesh Bank, Shah A Sarwar, managing director and CEO of IFIC Bank and Mustafiz Shafi, executive editor of the daily Samakal were present as jury members at the press conference.
‘IFIC bank- Samakal business award’ will be given in four categories. The categories are large industry enterprises of the year, women entrepreneur of the year, rising young entrepreneur, and best small and medium enterprise (SME) enterprise.
Lifetime achievement award will be given to one entrepreneur and it will be decided by the jury board.
The 10-member jury board will decide the final nomination on the basis of the entrepreneur’s application.
