New DCs in 11 districts

In a major reshuffle in the field administration, the government yesterday appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) to 11 districts, reports UNB. The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard. As per the notification, Bandarban DC M Aslam Hossain has been transferred to Kushtia while Deputy Director of Land Records and Surveys Department Tanmay Das made the DC of Noakhali.
Personal Secretary to the ACC commissioner SM Ferdous has been made the DC of Manikganj while Chief Executive Officer of Barishal City Corporation Md Wahiduzzaman the DC of Feni.
Joint Director of Payra Port Authority M Shahidul Islam has been made DC of Khagrachhari while Chief Executive Officer of Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) AZM Nurul Haque the DC of Chapainawabganj.
Chief Education Officer of Chattogram City Corporation Begum Nazia Shirin has been made DC of Nilphamari while Deputy Secretary of IMED Begum Anar Kali Mahabub the DC of Sherpur.
Personal Secretary to the Food Minister Mohammad Helal Hossain has been made DC of Khulna while Chief Executive Officer of Sylhet Zila Parishad Mohammad Abdul Ahad DC of Sunamganj and Director of Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission Mohammad Doudul Islam has been made DC of Bandarban district.
