Munshiganj: Two girls were abducted during their tiffin break in school in Srinagar upazila of Munshiganj district on Wednesday afternoon, reports UNB. The abducted girls are Sadia, daughter of Zahangir Alam of Kamargaon village and Lamia Akhter, daughter of Shah Alam Bepari of Uttar Kamargaon village.
Both are 14 and students of Class 9 at the Bhaggokul Harendra Lal High School and College. Members of the two families lodged two separate complaints with Srinagar Police Station after their girls did not return home after school hours.
Confirming the abduction charge, officer-in-charge of Srinagar Police Station Farid Uddin said police is trying to arrest whoever is behind the abduction.
