DIU develops Block Chain Technology
The Department of Software Engineering of Daffodil International University (DIU) successfully developed apps to verify students certificate in collaboration with Governments a2i project using Block Chain Technology and achieved grand success.
DIU is the first ever university in Bangladesh which has successfully implemented the technology. It was informed at a press conference on Certificate Verification with Block Chain Technology held at 71 Milanayatan of the university yesterday, says a press release.
Hamidul Haque Khan, DIU treasurer, Dr Touhid Bhuiyan, head, Department of Software Engineering (SWE), Md Khaled Sohel, assistant professor, Department of Software Engineering (SWE), Atiqul Islam Khan, CEO and Tanvir Ahmed, COO of Softbd Ltd, Shahedul Hasan, System Analyst of Softbd Ltd, were present the press conference.
Intl seminar on Current Trends in Folklore Studies held at IU
An international seminar on Current Trends in Folklore Studies was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Tuesday on the campus.
The University Folklore Studies department organised the programme at Birshrestha Hamidur Rahman Auditorium around 11am.
IU Vice-chancellor Prof M Harun-Ur Rashid Askari was the chief guest with Pro-Vice-chancellor Prof M Shahinoor Rahman and its treasurer Prof M Selim Toha were the special guests while Professor Dr M Saidur Rahman, chairman of the department was in the chair.
Besides, the university Applied Nutrition and Food Technology department organised a seminar on Nutrient Analysis and Ant-diabetic Effects of Edible Portion of Sugar Palm Fruits in Rates on Tuesday.
