Protibartan

Protibartan is the largest cultural organisation of Comilla University that is working to enhance cultural activities of the students.

The organisation arranges different cultural programmes on special occasions, such as Pohela Boishakh (Bengali New Year), Boshonto Boron Utshab (spring festival) and UGC (University Grants Commission) annual cultural function at BARD. It also arranges cultural exchange programmes at national and international levels.

Members of the organisation participate in different national programmes, such as Inter-University Cultural Festival where they have achieved gold and silver medals, Inter-Cultural Festival-CUET, and more.

Protibartan members have also attended some international programmes, such as 9th South Asian Universities Festival 2016 held at Baba Saheb Vimraw Ambedkar University, India, and and 10thSouth Asian Universities Festival 2018, held at Devi Ahilya University in Indore, India.

Protibartan was established on September 28, 2013 by Anupom Das Badhon. Oasi Mazumdar and Akash Ikbal are the current president and secretary of the organisation respectively.
