Police recovered the body of a housewife from a jungle in Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh yesterday noon, two days into her missing.
The deceased was identified as Begum, 40, wife of Siddiqur Rahman, a fisherman of village Durua in Gouripur.
Quoting neighbours, Md Ashiqur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Gouripur Police Station said Begum, a mother of eight children went missing Friday evening.
Yesterday local people found the body of Begum wrapping in a blanket in a jungle of Durua and informed police.
