Bangladesh has been re-elected vice-chairman of the Commission for South Asia (CSA), United Nations World Tourism Organisation in the meeting of Regional Commission for South Asia (CSA) held in Colombia on Monday, reports UNB.
Beside, Bangladesh has been elected vice-president in UNWTO 21st general assembly for the first time, said in a PID handout.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon will preside over the plenary session and general debate session.
Earlier, a 4-member delegation led by Rashed Khan Menon left Dhaka for Colombia on September 11 to attend the current assembly of UNWTO.
