AKSD awards and graduation held

The Aga Khan School Dhaka (AKSD) hosted its Awards and Graduation Ceremony 2017-2018 at a hotel in the capital recently, says a press release.
In the morning session, 100 students from primary school received certificates from the Principal  Craig Salmon and head of Primary School Shatila Reza for excelling in different categories such as ‘Academic’ award, ‘Principled’ award and ‘Most Improved’ award.
In the Secondary School programme, the graduation parade of 53 graduates took place in a grand manner. The graduates received certificates and gifts from the Principal Craig Salmon and head of Secondary School Fahmida Chowdhury. 18 students received certificate for ‘Academic’,’ ECA Outstanding Achievement’ , ‘CAS Outstanding Achievement’ and ‘Sportsmanship’ award.
The Country Manager Faisal Kader gave his congratulating speech and introduced Prof Dr Saad Andaleeb, Vice-Chancellor of BRAC University, who graced the occasion as chief guest. Dr Andaleeb delivered an eloquent and inspirational speech addressing the graduates. There was also a segment where 13 Staff of The Aga Khan School, Dhaka were awarded for their Long Service to the school. 
AIUB sign MoUs AUAP-IAUP Joint

American International University – Bangladesh [AIUB] inked a total of 13 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with esteemed academic institutions from across the world at the 1st AUAP-IAUP Joint International Conference 2018, held in Surabaya, Indonesia recently, says a press release. 
The signing ceremony was performed by Dr Carmen Z Lamagna, AIUB Vice-Chancellor of, on behalf of AIUB, with distinguished administrative representatives from Adamson University (AdU), Caucasus University (CU), Centre for Technical & Higher Education (CETYS), Christian University of Thailand (CUT), College of New Caledonia (CNC), Durban University of Technology (DUT), Lyceum of the Phillippines University (LPU), Osaka University of Commerce (OUC), Pan Pacific University (PPU), Samar State University (SSU), Suranaree University of Technology (SUT), University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (FH Upper Austria), and University of Surabaya (UBaya). 
The collaborating institutions agreed on opening the platform for joint cooperation in areas of research, academic development, and exchange of staff and students, expressing their eager interest in actualizing the numerous opportunities that this agreement opens up for the student and staff of all the participating partners, looking forward to getting to work on some of the prospective projects and initiatives in the near future.
