UGC chief gets death threat

University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan received death threat through a letter on Tuesday, reports UNB.
UGC Security Officer Syed Ashrafuzzaman filed a general diary with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station in this regard yesterday.
In the general dairy, he also sought security measures for the UGC chairman and its establishments. Nur Hossain, claiming a resident of Savar, sent the letter to the UGC chairman’s office over the general post.
