Passenger held with 10 gold bars at Ctg airport

CHATTOGRAM: Customs officials arrested a man along with 10 gold bars at Shah Amanat International Airport in the port city yesterday, reports UNB.
The arrestee is Ramjan Ali, hailing from Fatikchari upazila.
Wing commander Sarwar- e-Jaman, manager of the airport, said Ramjan came here by a flight of Air Arabia from Sarzah of United Arab Emirates (UAE) around 9:30am. Customs officials detained Ramjan due to his suspicious movement and detected presence of gold bars inside his stomach through an X-ray.
