A mobile court yesterday seized 1000 pieces of tablets used for fattening cattle artificially from a local pharmacy in the city. The mobile court also fined six other pharmacies on charge of selling unauthorised and date expired drugs. Mohammad Ruhul Amin, assistant commissioner and executive magistrate conducted the mobile court in Laldighi area under Kotwali police station of the city. The seven errant pharmacies- Messers Overseas Pharmacies, Ayesha Medico, Enam Medical Hall, FM Medical Hall, Mahim Medico, Nahar Medico and New Continent Medico were fined with Tk 95,000 in total.
