College student found dead

A college student was found dead at a boarding house at Kewatkhali in Mymensingh town yesterday.
 The deceased -- Raisul Islam Russel, 17, -- was a first year student of science group at Krishi Biswabidhalaya College here. He hailed from Balipara in Trishal upazila of the district, police sources said.
Quoting Sajjatul Karim Swapnil, a roommate of Russel, Md Kamrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kotwali police station said Swapnil went out of the room at around 10am and while going he had asked Russel whether he would go to the college. In reply, Russel said he was not feeling well and would not go to college., said the OC quoting Swapnil.
When Swapnil along with other mess members retuned to boarding house at around 1pm, they found the room locked from inside, police sources added. Later, they broke open the door of the room and found the blood-stained body of Russel lying on the floor. Blood was also found at the blades of the ceiling fan.
