Aung Rakhine’s short film ‘The Last Post Office’ has been selected for screening at the 69th Locarno International Film Festival Edition 2016. The festival will be held from August 1 to 11 in the city of Locarno, Switzerland.
The film will be premiered under the Open Doors category of the prestigious festival.
Written by Rajib Rafi and produced by Rubaiyat Hossain, the film ‘The Last Post Office’ was released this year. Production house Khona Talkies that work with independent filmmakers produced the film.
In 2015, Aung Rakhine made his debut with ‘My Bicycle’, which was the first short film in Chakma language in Bangladesh.
