Dhaka University authorities have suspended three Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists for assaulting two students, reports UNB. DU Proctor Prof AKM Golam Rabbani said, "The trio has been suspended from all academic activities of the university as the allegation against them was found to be true." The decision was made yesterday on the basis of primary investigation over written allegation and scrutinising CCTV footage, he said. Sifat Ullah of Women and Gender Studies, Md Al Imran of Institute of Education and Research and Mahmudur Rahman of Institute of Modern Language department faced the action. All of them are first-year students.
