Tribunal indicts nine war crimes accused

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 yesterday indicted nine war crimes accused from Muktagachha, Mymensingh, framing eight charges of crimes against humanity, reports BSS. The three-member tribunal led by Justice Shahinur Islam framed the charges of crimes, including genocide, rape and murder. The nine accused are: Abdus Salam, Suruj Ali Fakir, Join Uddin Faruki, Joynal Abedin alias Joynal Moulavi, Abdur Rahim alias Nur BSc, Jalal Uddin, Rostam Ali, Shamsher Ali alias Shamsher Fakir alias Shamsher Moulavi, Fazlul Haque alias Fazlu Kazi and Shamsul Haque. Of the nine, Fazlu and Shamsul are yet to be arrested.
