Law minister’s sister dies

Saima Islam, elder sister of law minister Anisul Huq, was buried at Banani graveyard yesterday afternoon after her namaz-e-janaza at the Azad Masjid of Gulshan. Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, law minister Anisul Huq, commerce minister Tofail Ahmed, attorney general Mahbubey Alam, some eminent Supreme Court lawyers and many others attended the janaza and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members of the deceased.  Saima Islam, 65, died at Apollo Hospital in the capital in the early hours of Saturday.
