Moon-sighting committee meeting today

A meeting of the National Moon-sighting Committee will be held today at the conference room of the Islamic Foundation Baitul Mukarram office in the capital, says a press release issued by the Islamic Foundation yesterday.
Religious Affairs Minister and National Moon Sighting Committee Chairman Principal Matiur Rahman will preside over the meeting.
The committee has requested people to spread the news over fax and telephone numbers, if the moon of the holy month of Zilhajj is seen by anybody from any places in the country, the release says.
