NETRAKONA: Awami League leaders said the present government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is taking country towards progress and prosperity defying conspiracies and subversive activities of anti-liberation forces, reports BSS. They called upon the party leaders and workers to forge unity among them removing self-interest for strengthening the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and involve themselves in nation building activities.
They said this while addressing the inaugural session of triennial conference of Awami League Khaliajury upazila unit held on Khaliajury Degree College premises of Netrakona district on Saturday. Organising secretary (Dhaka division) of AL central committee Ahmed Hossain addressed the conference as chief guest. State minister for jute and textile Mirza Azam, deputy minister for youth and sports Arif Khan Joy, deputy publicity secretary of AL central committee Asim Kumar Ukil, Rebeka Mumin, MP, Chabi Biswas, MP, Apu Ukil, MP, addressed conference as special guests.
