Utsho Bangladesh, a grassroots community based organisation enabling access to basic human rights for marginalised women and children, is organising an event titled ‘Utsho Chhora Likhar Utsab’ (Utsho Rhyme Writing Festival) tomorrow at the rehearsal room of Music and Dance Department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital.
Along with the students of Utsho Bidyaniketon, students from different schools in Dhaka will participate in the event.
Parliament Member poet Kazi Rozi will inaugurate the festival at 11am tomorrow. Founder of children’s organisation ‘Chader Haat’ Rafiqul Haq (Dadu Bhai) will attend the event as chief guest, while poet-writer Aslam Sani, children litterateur Amirul Islam, freedom fighter and children litterateur Alam Talukdar, among others, will be present as special guests.
The chief guest and special guests will distribute certificates among the participants at the event.
