Nepali-Bangla cultural evening at Shilpakala today

Aimed at promoting cultural exchange between Bangladesh And Nepal, Nepal Embassy in Dhaka is organizing a cultural programme titled Nepali-Bangla Cultural Evening 2018 today at the National Music and Dance Centre auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the Segun Bagicha of the capital.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor will attend the programme as chief guest.
At the programme, Bangladeshi and Nepalese artistes will present traditional Bangladeshi and Nepali dances, such as traditional Nepali Jhyaure dance, Bangladesh Manipuri, folk and general dance.
Among the artistes, Tonusree will perform dance with the song Tumt Robe Nirobe, Hridoye Momo, while Rounok Ferdous and Susmrta Basak will perform a duet Manipuri dance, choreographed by Kamrul Hassan Ferdous. Besides, Tonu and Aminul Asraf will perform a duet folk dance at the event.
Suman Sagar Jung K C and Sushila Thapa from Nepal will also perform at the programme.
