85 arrested in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR: Law enforcers, in special drives arrested 85 persons including 24 drug traders and 16 activists of BNP from different areas of the district in last 12-hour ending at 8am yesterday morning, reports BSS.
Law enforcers also seized 250 bottles of Phensidyl during the drives. Police said they were picked up from different areas of the district on different charges.
During the drives, Dinajpur Sadar police arrested 21 persons including 16 activists of BNP, Biral Thana police arrested 10 persons, Birampur Thana police arrested eight drug traders, Kaharole Thana police arrested six persons, Chirirbandar Thana police arrested five persons, Bochaganj Thana police arrested six persons, Nawabganj Thana police arrested two persons, Phulbari Thana police arrested nine drug traders, Parbatipur Thana police arrested seven persons including four drug traders and Khansama Thana police arrested eight persons.
