KU introduces two new disciplines

KHULNA: Khulna University (KU) will introduce two new disciplines of Mass Communication and Journalism and Human Resources Management with effect from next academic year, reports BSS. Currently, there are 21 disciplines under five faculties and three disciplines under the Institute of Fine Arts. From next academic year, the KU will have two more new disciplines. With these two, the total number of disciplines will then stand at 26. The Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University Md Fayek-uz-zaman said that these two new disciplines have got approval of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Admission of students to these two disciplines will begin from next academic year, VC said.
