BNP doesn’t do pro-people politics: Hanif

KUSHTIA: Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif yesterday said BNP does not do pro-people politics that is why the party carried out terrorism, arson attacks and sabotage to kill innocent people across the country, reports BSS.

“BNP did nothing for the welfare of people, when the party was in power.  When it is in opposition, it carried out violence and killed innocent people,” he told newsmen after exchanging views with local party leaders and workers at his residence in PTI road area here.

“Why people will cast their votes in favour of BNP?” he questioned.

About the threat of BNP of forging national unity to oust the government, the AL leader said BNP has no strength to do anything. Kushtia district AL President Sadar Uddin Khan, Education Affairs Secretary Amzad Hossain Raju, Kushtia town AL general secretary Ataur Rahman Ata were present on the occasion, among others.
