2 killed in Ctg incidents

Chattogram:  A boy and a girl were killed in separate incidents in Bakolia and Panchlaish areas of the port city Chattogram  on Tuesday night and Wednesday , reports UNB.

Ilham, 12, a class VI student of Meron Sun School and College and daughter of Nasir of Bakolia area was hacked to death by some miscreants at her house in the city on Wednesday. Sheelbrata Barua, assistant sub-inspector of Chattogram Medical College Hospital police camp, said miscreants swooped on Ilham around 9:30 am in absence of other house inmates and killed her by slitting her throat.

Ilham’s mother found her lying on the floor in a pool of blood. She was then taken to the hospital where the doctors declared her dead.

In another incident, Saidul Islam Anik, 20, was killed allegedly by his friends at Aturar Dipo area on Tuesday night. Abdul Warish, deputy commissioner of police, said Anik had an altercation with one of his friends over a trifling matter around 10 pm on Tuesday.
