CHITTAGONG: Officials of Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) held a staff of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) red-handed while taking money from an individual promising false medical certificate on Sunday, reports UNB. The arrestee was identified as Minal Kanti, 40, senior office assistant of the CMCH.
Being tipped-off that Minal was supposed to take money from the person named Md Mozammel Haque in exchange for a fake injury certificate, a team of ACC officials conducted a drive at a restaurant near the hospital and held the staff and recovered the supposed amount of TK 25,000 from his possession, said Jahirul Islam Bhuiya, in-charge of CMCH police camp.
A case was filed with Palais Police Station in the metropolitan city.
