Reception
University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh will accord a reception to the newly appointed three national professors-- Emeritus Professor Dr Rafiqul Islam, Emeritus Professor Dr Anisuzzaman and Professor Dr Jamilur Reza Choudhury on July 9 at its conference room, says a press release. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid is expected to be present as the chief guest. Secondary and Higher Education Division, (MoE) Secretary Sohrab Hossain will be present as the special guest. UGC Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan will preside over the event.
