‘Kidnapped’ boy found buried in Kushtia

A minor boy who was reportedly kidnapped on June 8 was found buried at the courtyard of their neighbour at Malitha village of Mirpur upazila of Kushtia yesterday, reports UNB. Police recovered the body of Deb Dutta, 9, son of Pabitra Dutta of the village and a Class-III student, from under the ground by a toilet of their neighbour Jahurul Islam at noon. Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid on Jahurul's house and recovered the body wrapped in a sack with his hands and legs tied, said Mirpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer SM Jamal Ahmed.
